Assignment: Develop a lesson or two of a semester-long course, including supporting sections and activities.
This course includes a course introduction, a syllabus, and a section introducing several types of graphs with good and not-so-good examples of each. (Activities and quizzes are included but may not be accessible to users who are not logged in.)
Below the screenshots of the Canvas site you'll find a video walkthrough and rationale of the Moodle site as well as a silent walkthrough of a lesson presented as a Rise.com course.
The Moodle version features an interactive lesson preview and game created in Adobe Captivate. These two items are featured separately in this portfolio.
Skills and technologies applied
Research • Curation • Lesson development • Writing and editing • LMS (Canvas, Moodle, Rise.com) • Technical writing
Feel free to peruse the Canvas version of the course (screenshots below). You'll have to join the course to take the quiz. There should be a "Join this Course" button either in the righthand navigation column or towards the bottom of the page.

Here's a video explaining the Moodle version of the course, including previews of two items created separately in Adobe Captivate. (Screenshots of and link to the Moodle version are below the video.)
Screenshots of the Moodle course are below. (I have closed my Moodle account.)

I also added course content to a Rise.com course during a free trial period and recorded a walkthrough before the trail ran out. The recording intentionally has no sound or subtitles. Enjoy!
